Obviously this isn't a Greek myth because it was written by Jose Luis Borges in his work "El Aleph" (1949), but is amazing how he invest the story and convert the Minotaur to the principal character, but in the same time Teseo is the redeemer of his life, Teseo kill him but is't the antagonist is just his liberator.
This Story is called "La casa de Asterión" in English "The House of Asterion", and, how I said before is the story about The Minotaur Asterion and is related like a monologue. Is the same Minotaur who talk about his personality, his life and house, also he talk about some young people who enter in his house and just die there (with this is prove his innocence). But he knows that someone one day is going to his house to set him free.

Good bye!
This story is excellent. When I was younger I read a lot of Borges. "Babel's Library" and "The Aleph" were my favorites.
ResponderEliminarHugs!
I think I will read it someday :)
ResponderEliminarSeems like a really nice story to read when I don't have more fotocopies left
